ABOR and NAU to make major health care announcement

WHAT: During the Arizona Board of Regents' board meeting scheduled for Sept. 28-29 in Flagstaff, Northern Arizona University will outline its contributions to AZ Healthy Tomorrow, the ABOR initiative designed to influence the trajectory of the health care workforce in Arizona for decades to come. In April, the University of Arizona announced it would double the number of doctors graduating from its medical school. In June, Arizona State University announced the launch of a new medical school. 

MEDIA AVAILABILITY: Media are invited to attend in person or stream the announcement at ABOR Live. Opening remarks will be provided by ABOR Chair Fred DuVal before a presentation from NAU President José Luis Cruz Rivera. 

WHERE: The meeting is at Northern Arizona University, High Country Conference Center, 201 W. Butler Ave, Flagstaff, Arizona 86001 in the Humphreys Room. A livestream is available at ABOR Live
