Universities propose updates to tuition and fees for 2024-25 academic year

Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University and the University of Arizona have submitted proposals to the Arizona Board of Regents for updates to their tuition and fees for the 2024-25 academic year. 

Last year, the Arizona Board of Regents approved a new multi-year tuition structure to increase cost predictability for resident students at Arizona’s public universities.

The proposals are available here: ASU, NAU and UArizona. Next steps include:

  • Proposal presentation (April 4) – The board anticipates the tuition and fee proposals will be on the ABOR University Governance and Operations Committee meeting agenda for review and potential action. Committee meeting materials will post here on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
  • Public hearing (April 9) – The board will hold a virtual, livestreamed public hearing for students and individuals to comment on the proposal on Tuesday, April 9 from 4-5 p.m. Instructions on how to comment are available under “public notices” on the board’s website. The livestream will be available here. Additionally, comments on tuition proposals may also be submitted electronically to, through regular mail, at 2700 N. Central Ave., Suite 400, Phoenix, AZ 85004; or by fax at (602) 229-2555.
  • Board vote on proposal (April 18) – The board anticipates including on its April 18 board agenda the review and possible action on the proposals. Board materials will post here on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
