Statement from ABOR Chair Larry E. Penley on coronavirus

The health and wellness of students, faculty, staff and visitors is always the highest priority for the Arizona Board of Regents. In light of the growing threat posed by COVID-19, novel coronavirus, and consistent with Gov. Ducey’s declaration of a public health emergency, the board is working closely with university leaders regarding steps that can be taken to minimize risk and as each president make decisions about their campus communities in light of public health concerns.
