The Arizona Board of Regents extends wishes for a safe and happy Fourth of July holiday

As we gather to celebrate our great nation this Fourth of July, the Arizona Board of Regents wishes our students, faculty, staff and the citizens of Arizona a safe and happy Independence Day.  As we celebrate, let us not forget the wisdom and foresight of our founding fathers that ensured our great democracy and our freedom to inquire, discover and learn.  As the father of the Constitution and fourth President of the United States James Madison wisely reflected, “What spectacle can be more edifying or more seasonable, than liberty and learning, each leaning on each other for their mutual and surest support?”
